School-Age Teacher

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. The Daycare professional will play a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of each child in our care.

Responsibilities

• Provide help throughout the center where you are needed, Answering walkie calls for Teachers.
• Subbing in classrooms when a Teacher is out sick or on Vacation.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Running bathroom breaks for teachers during the day.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
• Running the front during drop off and pick up.
• Pick up kids on the Van from School for after school care at Retta.

Experience

• Previous experience in child care.
• At least 25 years of age to drive our vans
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
• A background in care giving or childhood development will be beneficial for this role.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
