School age teacher

About Us:
At Stepping Stones, we provide a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children ages 6 weeks-12 years old. Our mission is to support the growth and development of each child through hands-on activities, educational programs, and creative play.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
• Drive a 15 passenger van
• Take children on lots of summer field trips
• Supervise and support children in group settings and during recreational activities.
• Foster positive relationships with children and encourage them to express themselves.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and development.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and productive team atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Early Childhood Education degree or certification preferred).
• Experience working with school-age children in a daycare or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere for children.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
