A contract Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available in the Camas and Vancouver, WA areas for skilled nurses with school health experience. This position provides specialized one-on-one nursing care for a high school student in a supportive educational setting. The role requires a compassionate RN familiar with a variety of complex medical procedures to ensure the students safety and well-being during the school day.
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 nursing care to a high school student in the classroom

Manage medication administration according to prescribed schedules

Perform and monitor G-Tube feedings

Conduct catheterizations as needed and maintain catheter care

Operate a Hoyer lift to assist with student mobility

Carry out oral and nasal suctioning procedures

Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to support the students health plan

Follow bus schedule with pick-up at 7:59 a.m. and drop-off at 4:15 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license

Previous experience working in school nursing or pediatric care scenarios

Proficiency in medication management and complex medical procedures listed above

Strong communication skills and collaboration with educational staff
This contract role is based at a school site in the Camas/Vancouver area, including nearby communities. The schedule offers a consistent four-day work week aligning with the school calendar.
