At In State, we are looking for dependable and safety-focused School Bus Drivers to join our transportation family. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing safe, timely, and friendly transportation for students to and from school each day. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and enjoys working with children. Responsibilities include:

• Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain order and ensure student safety and respectful behavior on the bus
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, students, parents, and school staff
• Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly.

Qualifications include:

• CDL License with school bus and passenger endorsement
• Previous experience as a driver is a plus.
• Must pass background checks and any required training programs related to school transportation safety.
• Strong mechanical knowledge is a plus for performing basic vehicle maintenance checks.
• DOE certified.
