Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students.
- Address students’ psychological, emotional, behavioral, and social concerns.
- Identify students facing academic or personal difficulties and provide appropriate interventions.
- Conduct workshops/seminars on topics such as stress management, self-esteem, peer pressure, exam anxiety, and career guidance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administration to support students’ overall well-being.
- Maintain confidential records of counselling sessions and prepare reports when required.
- Conduct psychological assessments and screening to identify special needs or learning difficulties.
- Refer students to external mental health professionals if necessary.
- Support in developing a positive school culture that promotes mental health awareness.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology / Counselling Psychology / Clinical Psychology.
- Professional certification in counselling/child psychology preferred.
- Experience in counselling children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and empathetic skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and career counselling.
