Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic School Head to lead and manage the school’s academic and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, a passion for student-centered learning, and the ability to foster an innovative, inclusive, and high-performance school culture.

This role involves driving strategic direction, ensuring pedagogical success across STEAM programs, and maintaining effective engagement with teachers, students, parents, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy

• Lead the strategic and operational management of the school, ensuring alignment with SOAR STEM Schools’ mission and values.
• Oversee daily operations, academic programs, and staff performance while ensuring adherence to school policies and procedures.
• Model professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Lead cross-functional teams to design and execute high-impact initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Academic Excellence & STEAM Integration

• Provide visionary leadership in developing, implementing, and evaluating innovative STEAM-based teaching and learning practices.
• Demonstrate the ability to design and deliver rich, student-centered learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
• Collaborate with educators to integrate STEAM experiences into multidisciplinary curricula.
• Identify and plan professional development activities to strengthen instructional design and technology integration.
• Apply educational and technology research, learning psychology, and instructional design principles to support effective pedagogy.

Staff Development & Management

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teachers and staff to ensure professional growth and accountability.
• Manage performance reviews, appraisals, and staff training programs.
• Foster collaboration and teamwork while maintaining a culture of excellence and respect.

Student & Community Engagement

• Work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff to enhance academic and social-emotional growth.
• Build positive relationships and open communication with all stakeholders.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment conducive to learning and innovation.

Operations & Compliance

• Contribute to effective resource management, including financial, human, and educational assets.
• Ensure compliance with all school policies, SOPs, and local regulations.
• Monitor and analyze performance data to drive evidence-based decisions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in educational leadership or school administration.
• Proven track record in curriculum development, STEAM integration, and school management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong technological proficiency and data-driven decision-making ability.
