We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented School Maintenance/Groundskeeper to maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our school grounds and facilities. This vital role involves performing landscaping, groundskeeping, and maintenance tasks to ensure an inviting and well-kept environment for students, staff, and visitors. If you enjoy working outdoors, using hand and power tools, and taking pride in creating a welcoming space, this position is perfect for you! Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, and landscape areas through trimming, planting, pruning, and watering using appropriate gardening tools and equipment
• Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers safely and efficiently to keep outdoor spaces tidy
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on school facilities, including repairs to fencing, playground equipment, lighting fixtures, and other structures
• Use hand tools for landscaping projects, repairs, and general upkeep around the campus
• Ensure outdoor areas are free of debris, hazards, or overgrowth to promote safety and aesthetics
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as monsoon cleanup to keep the campus accessible year-round
• Light Janitorial duties

Experience

• Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or maintenance preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques is a plus
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining outdoor spaces
• Ability to work independently while following safety protocols in outdoor environments
