School Nurse

We are seeking a qualified and licensed School Nurse to provide comprehensive healthcare services within the school environment, ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of students and staff. The successful candidate will deliver preventive and emergency care, maintain health records, manage school clinic operations, and ensure compliance with health authority regulations and school policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide healthcare services, first aid, and emergency medical support to students and staff during school hours.
• Conduct health assessments and early identification of communicable and infectious diseases and implement required preventive measures.
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate medication administration records.
• Maintain, organize, and update students’ medical records and health documentation.
• Prepare medical reports and coordinate with parents regarding student health conditions and follow-up care when required.
• Ensure school clinic equipment, supplies, and medications are available, properly stored, and maintained.
• Support vaccination programs and monitor student immunization records as required.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, infection control standards, health regulations, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with school management, parents, and healthcare providers regarding student health matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of all student medical information and records.
• Attend to school-related activities, events, and emergencies occurring within or outside school premises when required.
• Promote health awareness initiatives and educate students and staff on health and wellness practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid nursing license from relevant UAE health authorities (DOH / DHA / MOH).
• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in paediatrics, primary healthcare, emergency care, or school healthcare settings.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively during emergencies.
