School Nurse – Dubai

About the Role

A well-established school in Dubai is seeking a qualified and dedicated School Nurse to support the health, safety, and wellbeing of students. The ideal candidate will be experienced, child-friendly, and fully compliant with UAE school health guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to students and staff during school hours.
• Manage day-to-day clinic operations, including first aid, emergency response, and medication administration.
• Maintain accurate student health records in line with DHA and KHDA requirements.
• Monitor and report communicable diseases; ensure adherence to Dubai Health Authority protocols.
• Conduct routine health checks and support whole-school wellbeing initiatives.
• Maintain clinic stock, hygiene standards, and medical equipment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student health concerns.
• Participate in emergency drills and health awareness programmes.

Requirements

• Valid DHA School Nurse License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in school or pediatric care.
• Up-to-date BLS/First Aid certification.
• Strong communication, organisational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling emergencies.
