School Nurse - U-32 (.40 FTE)

Washington Central Unified Union School District is seeking an energetic, experienced, and caring school nurse at U-32 Middle/High School two days per week or flexibility in working 15 hours per week for the 2026-2027 school year.Responsibilities of the school nurse include: Providing nursing assessment, treatment, first aid and emergency careAdministering and monitoring medications taken at schoolMaintaining comprehensive and confidential health records for students that are compliant with federal, state and local regulations. Must remain proficient in current technology for health record database used throughout the districtManaging communicable diseasesConducting annual hearing and vision screeningAssessing and planning for students with health-related concerns which may affect learningCommunicating with families and staff regarding health-related issuesProviding families with health-related resources and referralsPromoting school-wide wellness through health education
