SUMMARY: Responsible for the delivery of direct educational and mental health services to create supportive learning and social environments for all students. Responsible for conducting formal and informal assessments for the identification, placement, and programming of students for Special Education services and providing effective services to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.

The Credit Recovery Mentor Teacher supports high school students enrolled in the district’s online credit recovery program (Edmentum). This role provides targeted academic interventions, mentors students in-person and online, monitors progress, and proctors assessments. The teacher helps students set attainable goals, consistent check ins with students and parents, and stay on track for course completion. Collaboration with staff, communication with families, and maintaining a supportive learning environment are key responsibilities. The position requires a valid Colorado teaching license, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to student success.
