Requirements:

NJ School Social Worker Certificate
Master's in School Social Work
Experience as a member of CST preferred
IEP Direct Software experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Thorough knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education
Bilingual preferred

Responsibilities:

Conduct social assessments
Participate in the classification process
Write individualized education plans
Case management for students with special needs

Effective: 2026-2027 School Year

Salary:

As per salary guide based on experience and earned degree level
Minimum $78,439 - maximum $109,099
CST Members (School Psychologists, Social Workers, and LDTCs) shall work the teacher calendar and be employed for 15 days in the summer prior to the start of the school year for 10-month employees.

Benefits:

In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off.
Will be entered into the appropriate NJ Pension Program.
