Position Purpose:
Provide triage and ticket monitoring in service of technical assistance to district technology users. Answer questions or resolve problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically. May provide assistance concerning the use of hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
Essential Duties:

Respond to inquiries for technology assistance through phone, email, and help desk system; assign work orders to staff through help desk system.

Support and assist IT staff with account management for district-wide IT systems.

Entry-level support in Google Workspace and Intune, including management of endpoint devices and accounts.

Provide dispatch and direct support/backup for IT department staff.

Provide improvement plans centric to ITIL practices in HaloITSM, including reporting and process improvements.

Back up other ITS staff by assisting with problem-solving computer hardware and software operation issues.
Other Duties:

Provide hardware and software testing support for standardized testing as needed.

Education/Certification:
-
High school diploma or equivalent, plus post-secondary courses in microcomputer, computer software, and hardware equivalent to one year of college.

Criminal background check required for hire.

ITIL Foundational Certification, v4 or v5 preferred.
Experience:

One year and up to and including two years of experience in technology services support, including direct user support and incident closure.
Salary Grade 6 minimum $22.98 per hour
Work hours: 40 hours per week
