Science Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Microbiology and Biochemistry Teacher to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching microbiology and biochemistry courses to undergraduate students, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teach Microbiology and Biochemistry Courses: Teach undergraduate courses in microbiology and biochemistry, including lectures, labs, and discussions.

2. Develop and Implement Engaging Lesson Plans: Develop and implement lesson plans that promote student engagement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

3. Assess Student Learning Outcomes: Assess student learning outcomes through quizzes, exams, lab reports, and other evaluation methods.

4. Mentor and Advise Students: Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters related to microbiology and biochemistry.

5. Stay Current with Developments in the Field: Stay current with developments in microbiology and biochemistry, and incorporate new knowledge and techniques into teaching practices.

Requirements:

1. Master in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field

2. Teaching Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience in microbiology and biochemistry at any reputable institution

3. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively teach and mentor students.

4. Strong Knowledge of Microbiology and Biochemistry: A strong knowledge of microbiology and biochemistry, including laboratory techniques and safety protocols, is required.
