Position: Primary Science & SST Teacher

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Cambridge Primary curriculum and learning objectives.
• Develop lesson plans, activities, worksheets, and assessments to promote active learning.
• Create a positive, interactive, and student-centered classroom environment.
• Teach Science concepts through practical activities, experiments, investigations, and real-life applications.
• Teach Social Studies (SST) by developing students’ understanding of society, history, geography, culture, and global citizenship.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Prepare and maintain academic records, reports, and student portfolios.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies, including AI-supported learning tools where appropriate.
• Maintain effective classroom management and ensure a safe, disciplined learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, participate in school meetings, trainings, and extracurricular activities.
• Support students’ intellectual, social, and emotional development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Sound understanding of the Cambridge Primary curriculum and modern teaching methodologies.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences.
• Previous experience teaching Primary Science and SST in a Cambridge school will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
