Science Teacher

Central Academy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Science Teacher for Primary and Secondary classes. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Science and the ability to explain concepts clearly while making learning interesting and concept-based for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Science to primary school students in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and academic standards.
• Plan and deliver interactive and concept-based lessons using experiments, activities, and teaching aids.
• Encourage curiosity, observation, and inquiry-based learning among young learners.
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment materials.
• Assess and monitor students’ academic progress through regular evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress and development.
• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and academic planning activities.
• Support school events, science activities, and co-curricular programs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related subject.
• B.Ed. or D.El.Ed.
• Prior experience teaching at the primary level will be an advantage.
• Strong command over Science concepts
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Patience and ability to engage students effectively

Preferred Experience

• Experience teaching CBSE / ICSE / Cambridge curriculum
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classrooms
