Job Overview:

Athar Academy is seeking a qualified and dynamic Science Teacher to deliver the Applied Curriculum in an engaging and practical way. The ideal candidate will focus on developing students’ scientific understanding through hands-on learning, real-life applications, and interactive teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach science subjects (General Science / Biology / Chemistry / Physics) based on the Applied Curriculum
• Design and deliver hands-on experiments and practical activities
• Simplify scientific concepts using real-life examples
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Assess student performance through tests, projects, and observations
• Use interactive teaching methods and educational technology
• Manage the classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in academic planning
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field (Education degree is a plus)
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience
• Experience with Applied Curriculum (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of science subjects and teaching methodologies
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Pay: AED75.00 - AED100.00 per hour
