About the Role

We are a fast-growing digital publication dedicated to making Space, Biotech, Climate accessible to a global audience. We are looking for a sharp, curious Science Writer who can turn rigorous research into captivating digital stories.

You aren't just a reporter; you are a digital storyteller who understands how to hook a reader in the first sentence and keep them scrolling until the very end.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Write 2–4 high-quality digital articles per week, ranging from breaking news summaries to long-form features.
• Editorial Accuracy: Fact-check all claims against primary sources (peer-reviewed journals, institutional reports).
• SEO Optimization: Use keywords and metadata best practices to ensure our stories rank on Google and reach a wider audience.
• Subject Matter Interviews: Connect with researchers and industry leaders to get exclusive quotes and insights.
• Collaboration: Work with our Digital Editor and Social Media Manager to create "shareable" science content for Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Science field (Biology, Physics, etc.) OR Journalism with a proven track record in STEM OR Intermediate (Internship)
• Writing Style: Ability to write in a conversational, engaging "digital" voice without sacrificing scientific nuance.
• Technical Savvy: Experience with WordPress (or similar CMS) and basic understanding of SEO.
• Portfolio: A link to a digital portfolio or 3 published clips is mandatory for consideration.
• Interns with excellent written and spoken English can also apply
