Role Overview

We are looking for scientists who can apply AI/ML to biological and genomic data to solve real-world challenges in disease research and therapeutics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy AI/ML models on large-scale biological and genomic datasets, leveraging deep learning and statistical approaches to generate predictive and disease-relevant insights.
  • Design and execute population genomics analyses (WES/WGS, GWAS, QTL, PRS, variant analysis) to understand disease mechanisms and identify clinically relevant signals.
  • Apply in-silico and AI-driven methods to support therapeutic discovery, biomarker identification, modeling biological systems, designing and optimizing antibodies, RNA, or related modalities.
  • Curate, integrate, featurise and preprocess complex datasets from experiments, literature, and public repositories to ensure high-quality inputs for modeling and analysis.
  • Validate, benchmark, and interpret model outputs against biological data and research objectives, translating results into actionable scientific insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including bioinformaticians, computational chemists, data scientists, and wet-lab researchers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Stay current with advancements in AI/ML, genomics, and computational biology, and apply emerging methods to enhance research and discovery outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD / Postdoc in Genomics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biochemistry, Applied Mathematics/Statistics, or related fields
  • Strong Python programming skills with solid ML/DL fundamentals
  • Experience working with statistical genomics tools (PLINK, HAIL, Glow) and large biological/genomic datasets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
  • Exposure to HPC or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Linux environments, and Docker
  • Prior experience applying AI/ML in disease research, genomics, or therapeutic discovery
