Scissor Lift Operator

Overview

This is a one time job. pays 150.00 for four hours.
We are seeking a skilled Scissor Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and materials handling, demonstrating proficiency in operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within the facility, contributing to our overall operational success.

Duties

• Operate scissor lifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload materials.
• Assist with High Dusting job at local retailer.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
• Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring safe handling techniques are employed.

Experience

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution is preferred.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping & receiving protocols.
• Proven ability to operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy machinery safely.
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and mechanical systems is advantageous.
• Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
