Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare screen printing equipment, including selecting screens, inks, and registration guides for each job.
• Operate manual and automatic screen printing presses efficiently while maintaining consistent quality throughout production runs.
• Inspect printed items for color accuracy, registration, and overall quality, making adjustments as needed to meet specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the printing area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and equipment is well-maintained.
• Collaborate with design teams to understand project requirements, including color matching, layout design, and special effects.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with printing machinery promptly to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating screen printing equipment or similar manufacturing machinery in a production setting.
• Strong understanding of color theory, ink mixing, and print registration techniques.
• Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar tools for preparing artwork files.
• Knowledge of digital art creation, typography, layout design, and visual aesthetics to support print accuracy.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings or digital designs accurately for precise reproduction on various substrates.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures related to manufacturing environments. Preferred skills include experience with digital design platforms like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), motion graphics tools such as After Effects, 3D animation software like Maya or SketchUp for conceptual visualization, as well as familiarity with web design languages (HTML/CSS) for integrated branding projects.
