Responsibilities

• Set up and operate screen printing presses efficiently, ensuring alignment, registration, and color accuracy for each job
• Prepare screens by cleaning, coating, exposing, and reclaiming to ensure optimal print quality
• Manage color matching and calibration using advanced color management techniques to achieve consistent results
• Collaborate with the prepress team to review artwork files, perform layout design adjustments, and ensure proper file preparation using Adobe Creative Suite tools
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the printing process to detect and correct issues promptly
• Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, troubleshooting mechanical problems, and coordinating repairs with maintenance teams
• Support the production schedule by managing multiple jobs simultaneously while adhering to safety standards and deadlines

Skills

• Extensive experience in screen printing techniques across various substrates
• Strong knowledge of prepress processes including film output, digital file preparation, and layout design
• Proficiency in color management principles to ensure vibrant, consistent prints
• Solid understanding of graphic design fundamentals and typography for effective visual communication
• Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for artwork adjustments and file preparation
• Ability to perform quality control checks meticulously to maintain high standards of finished products
• Knowledge of print advertising standards and layout design best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues on press equipment quickly and efficiently
