Screen Printing Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Screen Printing Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining screen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. Your expertise in color management, graphic design, and machine operation will ensure that each print meets our rigorous standards. Duties

• Set up and operate screen printing machinery, ensuring precise registration and alignment for consistent quality.
• Manage color matching and color management processes to achieve accurate and vibrant prints.
• Interpret production documents and specifications to execute print jobs accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance and mechanical adjustments on printing equipment.
• Monitor print quality throughout production runs, implementing quality control measures to detect and correct defects promptly.
• Collaborate with design teams on graphic design elements, ensuring proper typography, layout, and image placement for optimal print results.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to industrial safety standards and operating machinery responsibly.
• Prepping screens by cleaning and coating mesh screens

Skills

• Strong understanding of color management techniques and graphic design principles.
• Mechanical knowledge of industrial printing equipment including screen printing presses, and exposure unit.
• Experience with machine operation, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions.
• Skilled in layout design, typography, and print advertising concepts.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the production process.
• Technical proficiency in adjusting industrial equipment for optimal performance.
