Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screening of passengers, baggage, cargo, and personnel using advanced security equipment to detect prohibited items or threats.
• Manage access control points efficiently, verifying identification and travel documentation to ensure authorized entry.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting travelers with inquiries, directions, and support throughout the screening process.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or suspicious activities, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of screenings, incidents, and access logs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Enforce security protocols consistently while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor with all passengers and staff.
• Stay updated on aviation security procedures, threat levels, and regulatory changes to adapt screening practices accordingly.

Skills

• Strong understanding of aviation security protocols and procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and detail-oriented during long shifts to identify potential threats effectively.
• Effective conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of security equipment operation such as X-ray machines, metal detectors, and surveillance systems is preferred.
• Good physical fitness for standing for extended periods and performing routine screening tasks.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
