Job DescriptionPosition: Scrub Nurse – OT & Cath Lab

Location: Al Azhar Medical College & Super Specialty Hospital, Thodupuzha
Department: Operation Theatre (OT) / Cath Lab
Reports To: OT In-Charge / Cath Lab In-Charge

Key ResponsibilitiesOperation Theatre (OT)

• Prepare the OT before procedures by ensuring sterility, availability of instruments, equipment, and consumables.
• Perform scrub duties during surgical procedures, including handling instruments, sutures, and supplies.
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques throughout the procedure.
• Assist surgeons during procedures such as Organ Transplant (OLT) and other major surgeries.
• Count instruments, sponges, and needles before and after procedures.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.
• Support post-operative care and assist in transferring patients safely.

Cath Lab

• Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and sterile fields for Cath Lab procedures.
• Handle catheters, guidewires, and other Cath Lab instruments efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain sterility and patient safety during procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
