Lead multiple Scrum teams with Agile methodologies in sprint or Kanban environments

Own and facilitate all Scrum meetings such as the daily stand-up, sprint planning, backlog refinement, demo, and retrospective

Coach the organization to adhere to Scrum practices and focus strictly on delivering real value for real users

Provide support within planning and reporting tools such as Jira

Help teams achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity and self-organization capability

Help build an environment of accountability where team members feel a true ownership of the product

Support the Product Owners with backlog management, scope management, handling stakeholder requests, and defining priorities

Build and maintain reports for velocity, burndown, project planning, and capacity in order to provide ongoing insights and recommendations to the team

Conduct other activities such as story point estimation, adjusting roadmaps, supporting quarterly planning, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration

Accelerate teams by resolving conflicts, removing impediments, and reducing context switching

Curate a team culture that encourages commitment, focus, openness, respect, and courage, while upholding the pillars of transparency, inspection, and adaptation

Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Scrum Master certification

5+ year’s experience in a Scrum Master or Product Owner role in a software development environment

Experience with Jira
-
Experience coaching teams new to Agile and Scrum

Excellent communication, active listening, and servant leadership skills

Excellent knowledge of Scrum elements and artifacts (user stories, sprints, kanban boards, backlog refinement, scope, velocity, definition of done, and more)

Ability to analyze and think quickly to resolve conflicts

Ability to work with and lead a team
