Scrum Master

Job Title:: Scrum Master

Job Location:: Remote Milwaukee WI need local only


Scrum Master will focus on enabling people and processes at the team level to deliver continuous value. The Scrum Master is responsible for cultivating high performing teams, embedding Agile principles, and driving sustainable organizational change.

Team Effectiveness

Scrum Master will help teams become self managing, cross functional, and high performing by coaching Agile principles and fostering productive collaboration – which in turn creates improved focus, commitment, and delivery predictability.

Fast and Higher Quality Delivery

Scrum Masters is responsible for removing impediments early and facilitating inspection and adaptation, which enables shorter feedback loops, earlier defect detection, and incremental delivery of value, reducing overall delivery risk.

Transparency and Stakeholder Trust

Scrum Master will facilitate clear Scrum events (Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) that promote visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes, helping stakeholders make informed decisions based on evidence rather than projections.

Driving Organizational Agility

Beyond the team level, the Scrum Master will act as a change agent, helping the organization adopt empirical thinking, reduce friction, and align delivery practices with business outcomes.

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

• Coach team members in self management and cross functionality

• Ensure Scrum events are productive, time boxed, and purposeful

• Help the team meet the Definition of Done and produce high quality increments

• Facilitate continuous improvement through Sprint Retrospectives

• Facilitate the sprint planning meetings

• Manage the sprint dashboards

• Prepare and maintain burndown charts

• Work closely with the cross functional (DEV, QA, and PO) to meet the sprint milestones

• Help improve Product Backlog refinement techniques

• Support effective Product Goal definition

• Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and the Scrum Team

• Removing Impediments: A core responsibility is identifying and removing organizational, technical, or process impediments that reduce team effectiveness. This may involve escalation, negotiation, or systemic change rather than task level issue resolution.
