Scrum Master/Project Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master/Project Manager to lead our agile teams in delivering high-quality projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, and will be adept at facilitating collaboration among team members. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that all deliverables meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies to ensure effective team collaboration.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and scope while adhering to PMBOK guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Utilize tools such as TFS and SharePoint for project tracking and documentation.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that deliverables meet business needs.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to prioritize project tasks and resolve conflicts.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation using Word and other relevant tools.
• Continuously assess team performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in an agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with databases and their integration into project management processes is a plus.
• Proficient in using TFS for project tracking and management.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) for software projects.
• Knowledge of PMBOK principles and best practices in project management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $72.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
