Seafood Department Manager - Boca Raton | Spanish Required | Portuguese Plus | Strong Pay

GalaFresh Supermarket is hiring an experienced Seafood Department Manager to lead a high-potential seafood department serving a diverse customer base, including American, Italian, Brazilian, Colombian, Venezuelan, and Latin American shoppers.

The right candidate must understand fresh seafood, whole fish, fillets, shellfish, salted fish, customer service, ordering, shrink control, case presentation, sanitation, and team leadership.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage daily seafood department operations.
• Order and maintain proper inventory levels.
• Control shrink, freshness, rotation, and gross margin.
• Build attractive seafood displays and weekend merchandising sets.
• Train seafood clerks on product knowledge and customer service.
• Maintain excellent sanitation and odor control.
• Serve customers confidently in a multicultural environment.
• Recommend seafood items based on customer cooking styles and cultural preferences.

Requirements:

• 3+ years seafood department experience preferred.
• Seafood management or assistant management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of whole fish, fillets, shrimp, shellfish, and specialty seafood.
• Spanish required.
• Portuguese is a major plus.
• Must be reliable, clean, organized, and customer-service driven.
• Must be able to lead a team and take ownership of department results.

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience. Strong candidates will be paid accordingly.

Pay: $1,100.00 per week
