Seafood production

Schneider's Seafood + Meats is a family owned business which has been in operation since 1909. Our number one priority is to provide our customers with the freshest, finest Seafood and Meat products available. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to work in our Seafood division, as a Production associate / Fish cutter.

• Obtain the ability to determine the quality of seafood based on its physical attributes, shape, and smell.
• Pack and label fresh fish.
• Clean and sanitize processing room as needed.
• Follow and apply all the company guidelines and policies (food defense, good manufacturing practices, safety, and sanitation).
• Use knives or other equipment to perform fish cutting and trimming.
• Knowledge of Seafood product.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds for short distances.
• Long term standing required.
• Production area is refrigerated, warm clothing and steel toe boots are required.
• Assist with receiving.
• Assist loading trucks daily.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
