Seafood Utility

Full-time job

IRP Meat & Seafood Co. is looking for a utility worker to work in our Seafood Department. At IRP you will never have to work weekends or holidays. We offer Paid-Time-Off/ holidays, 401k with match, and benefits!

Duties

Unload trucks ensuring proper quality and standards of all supplies
Restock fresh and frozen seafood inventories
Restock all department related supplies
Inventory control of all fresh and frozen seafood products
Operate scaling machine, hand-held fish scaler, and pin-bone machine
Light cutting and trimming
Operate shipping station with touch screen monitor
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area and equipment
Trash Removal
Performing all tasks as delegated by supervisor

Work Conditions

This position is based in our food manufacturing plant. Our utility workers spend most of their day standing up and must spend extended periods of time working in cold rooms where the temperature is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. At times, this position may also be required to do some heavy lifting as part of this job.

Shift

Monday – Friday, 5:00am – 1:30pm

$22.00/hour
