An SEO Specialist optimizes websites to rank higher on search engines, driving organic traffic via keyword research, content strategy, link building, and technical SEO, collaborating with teams to improve visibility, user experience, and achieve marketing goals using analytics tools to track performance and adapt to algorithm changes. Key Responsibilities
- Keyword Research: Identify valuable search terms and integrate them into content.
- On-Page SEO: Optimize website content, meta tags, site structure, and user experience (UX).
- Off-Page SEO: Develop and execute link-building strategies to boost authority.
- Content Collaboration: Work with writers and editors to create SEO-friendly content.
- Technical SEO: Ensure site speed, mobile-friendliness, and proper implementation of SEO best practices.
- Analysis & Reporting: Monitor performance using tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush) and report on KPIs.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and industry trends.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Understanding of HTML/CSS is helpful.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, dev, and content teams.
