Job Summary:</b></p>
<p>
An Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day sales of industrial product which includes diesel and gas engine generators, transfer switches, and switch gear. This role is also responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with a contractor and end user customer base and the specifying engineering community.</p>
<p><b>
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></p>
<p>
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily including the following.</p>
<ul>
<li>Work with inside sales support to read and interpret specifications for potential generator sales.</li>
<li>Pull specifications from plan (on-line or hand delivered).</li>
<li>Read and interpret specification.</li>
<li>Enter bill of material into Kohler-net (on-line pricing system) and print quote.</li>
<li>Contact potential customers for project bid lists.</li>
<li>Distribute quotation as required to customers.</li>
<li>Help customers and employees with product specifications, model numbers, and pricing about company products.</li>
<li>Coordinate submittals from Kohler to customers with help from inside sales support position.</li>
<li>Prepare weekly call reports and keep company database updated with new business contact, quotes, and sales.</li>
<li>Work closely with the inside estimator/project manager to Ensure customers are handled in the proper manner.</li>
<li>Ensure project profitability and communicate with both the inside sales support position and the Service Department.</li>
<li>Employee will be responsible for a sales territory established by the Industrial Sales Manager.</li>
<li>Bilingual in Spanish beneficial.</li>
<li>Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.</li>
<li>Other duties as required.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications/Experience/Education/Skills:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from accredited college, or technical school, or 3+ years Industrial Sales Experience (Oil Field/Oil and Gas) experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
</li><li>3+ years proven sales experience.</li>
<li>Generator knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office 360 and other Microsoft products/systems. Strong technical aptitude, including ability to learn new systems quickly and train/support team in adoption.</li>
<li>Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation, which includes a motor vehicle check, and drug screen.</li>
</ul>

As an Account Manager, your role will be focused on regional accounts who are using Seequent software for geological modelling, analysis, visualization and decision making. We are continuing to experience rapid growth in recent years and there are now a significant number of sizeable accounts in the region. Seequent&rsquo;s portfolio of products is also growing, through development and acquisition. To realise the growth in existing accounts the business requires dedicated commercial / account management focus.</p><p>
The goal of this role is to enable the region to meet its strategic objective of sustainable, long-term sales growth. You will be working closely with the Manager, Account Management to define a strategy in the accounts with the aim to further ingrain our solutions and uncover and progress other opportunities. Day to day you are guiding the sale of software seats, training and engaging with internal technical experts and advisors to maximise an account&rsquo;s potential.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Duties and responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>
Work with the Manager, Account Management to ensure the sales activities lead to the achievement of company growth and profitability.
</li><li>Stay abreast of all activity associated with your assigned accounts. Understand who to engage with in the greater business to further opportunities that may arise.
</li><li>Understand our customers technical problems, client needs, and set meetings with appropriate Seequent team members to further these opportunities.
</li><li>Manage and lead the negotiation and closing of business to business and sales contracts.
</li><li>Be a CRM champion by keeping information accurate records.
</li><li>Participate and lead monthly sales and annual target forecasting of your assigned accounts.
</li><li>Conduct regular reporting to clients of their software usage.
</li><li>Lead quarterly client catch up meeting with your assigned accounts.
</li><li>Understand and quantify potential opportunities associated with our current accounts.
</li><li>Ensuring that all opportunities are well documented and identified in the CRM for forecasting.
</li><li>Collaborate with the Sales team and Technical Solutions Specialists/Leads to accurately assess all opportunities in the pipeline and prioritise appropriately.
</li><li>Through training or existing knowledge, develop a fundamental understanding of the software products and be aware of the benefits and value statements.

Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
5+ years sales experience (Software and/or Geosciences).
</li><li>Demonstrated capability with enterprise sales and solution selling.
</li><li>Account management and negotiation &ndash; having the ability to set a strategy through robust account planning and executing this plan by engaging with relevant stakeholders across your managed accounts and greater Seequent to achieve value.
</li><li>Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, decision making and prioritization skills.
</li><li>Have exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts while building and maintaining strong customer relationships</li><li>Conduct early-stage collections (1&ndash;6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection standards</li><li>Maintain account health and secure payment commitments utilizing account management tools</li><li>Complete assigned routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups</li><li>Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, over the phone, and in customers&rsquo; homes</li><li>Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements</li><li>Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise</li><li>Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles</li><li>Adhere to all company safety and operational guidelines</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>At least 18 years of age</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with good driving record</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Physical Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise</li><li>Ability to drive a box truck</li><li>Standing and driving for extended periods of time</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Schedule &amp; Work Environment</b></p><ul><li>Full-time, Monday&ndash;Saturday</li><li>Sundays off plus one weekday off</li><li>Physically active role requiring lifting, bending, and standing</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
