  Role Overview

 We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Accounting Tutors who can confidently support students in Accounting courses across high school and college levels. Tutors who can also teach a range of Math subjects from 6th grade through college level are able to connect with more students and increase their tutoring schedule. This is a fully remote contract role with flexible scheduling.

   Bachelor's degree required
  </li>

   Minimum 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience
  </li>

   At least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience
  </li>

   Must have taught or tutored within the past 2 years
  </li>
  <li>
   At least 1 year of online tutoring experience
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong subject matter expertise in Accounting
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to tutor Math subjects between 6th grade and college level
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Tutors with availability during peak hours (Monday - Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET) can connect with more students. Broader weekday and weekend availability is a plus
  </li>

   Fast and reliable internet connection
  </li>
  <li>
   Computer or laptop with microphone and camera. A stylus pen is highly recommended for clear annotations
  </li>

On top of face-to-face tutoring, tutors may be assigned to the online tutoring lab or in other labs across campus.</li><li>
Participate in required tutor training and certification.</li><li>
Tutors are also expected to contribute to certain Academic Tutoring initiatives like conducting class visits, creating and updating handouts, designing workshops, and contributing to end of the year events.</li></ul></div><p></p>
