POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for leading and overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable function across multiple properties and funding sources. Ensures accuracy, timeliness, internal control integrity, and regulatory compliance of all AP activities, with a strong emphasis on HUD and affordable-housing requirements. <div>Qiddiya Investment Company is searching for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager - Accounts Payable to join our finance department. This role is crucial in maintaining efficient accounts payable operations to support the company&rsquo;s financial health. You will lead the accounts payable processes, ensuring all invoices and payments are processed accurately and timely while fostering strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable activities, auditing processes, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial operations. 
Responsibilities<ul>
<li>Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.</li>
<li>Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.</li>
<li>Manage communications with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate vendor information and records in the accounting system.</li>
<li>Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to ensure internal controls are followed.</li>
<li>Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.</li>
<li>Prepare reports and analyze accounts payable data to identify trends and opportunities for process enhancement.</li>

Requirements 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years experience in accounts payable, finance, or related roles.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, internal controls, and financial regulations.</li>
<li>Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage and lead a team.</li>
<li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li>
