Under the clinical supervision of the designated site Clinical Supervisor, the Counselors are responsible for the programs and services provided to the program participants served by Mirror. Counselors shall operate in accordance with the policies and procedures determined by the Board of Directors and as implemented by his/her supervisor(s) and all parties shall abide by all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The duties of this position include curricula development and implementation, psychoeducational presentations, individual counseling, group counseling, case management activities and all related paperwork demands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
<div><ul><li><div><ul><li>Maintain communication with referral sources.</li></ul></div></li><li>
Dialogue with local referral sources to keep them apprised of their clients performance in treatment when requested.</li><li>
Create the curricula and design the treatment plans for the clients.</li><li>
Provide group/individual/family counseling for clients in both residential and outpatient treatment settings.</li><li>
Provide individual counseling for clients and assist in the identification and resolution of problems, behaviors, or cognition which prevent or interfere with clients reaching of their treatment goals or positive outcomes.</li><li>
Maintain treatment related paperwork such as treatment plans, evaluations, discharge summaries, CIF forms, program evaluation forms, within our electronic client record, etc.</li><li>
Must attend and participate in required staff meetings and supervision meetings</li><li>
Participate in the on-call rotation for clinical coverage required at residential facilities.</li><li>
Assist immediate supervisors with coverage related issues when necessary.</li><li>
Provide psychoeducational groups and learning experiences geared to meet the client's level of understanding. These should be focused on addiction related topics, stress management, nutrition, ADIS, (ways to change) criminal thinking, etc.</li><li>
Assist in the collection of client fees (as necessary for the assigned program) as it directly impacts the relationship between the client and Mirror Inc.</li><li>

Graduate of a four-year accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, substance abuse counseling or a closely related field is required. Master's degree matching one of the aforementioned professions is preferred.</li><li>
Be licensed at the masters level to provide psychotherapy services OR be a licensed Addictions Counselor, in the State of Kansas.</li><li>
Certification to deliver SB 123 services and assessments desirable.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal skills required as well as ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.</li><li>

Employees who have been diagnosed with any type of substance use disorder or behavioral addiction/compulsion must have sustained a minimum of two consecutive years of abstinence from all intoxicating substances and symptoms of their chemical and/or behavioral addiction; and must be in full sustained remission.</li><li>
Must have proficient computer skills or experience and/or skills working with an Electronic Health Record.</li><li>
Since the science of addiction is rapidly evolving counseling staff must have a through working knowledge of the disease of addiction and the various modes of treatment. Must be able to adapt to and implement changing treatment models and techniques.</li><li>

Case Manager-RedirectJob descriptionThe Redirect addiction-related diversion program is a street-based, long-term, and unconventional approach to case management. Redirect case work is non-coercive, non-time delimited, street-based, and built on multiple pathways to recovery, including harm reduction, and steeped in Stages of Change theory and motivational interviewing practices.This position will manage a caseload of approximately 15-25 participants and will work in conjunction with local police departments and FAN&rsquo;s Comeback Quick Response Team (QRT). ob descriptionThe Clinical Director shall be available in the Facility at all times during normal business hours.Responsibilities include but are not limited to-<ul><li>Providing Developing and maintaining written objectives, policies and procedures, an organizational plan and a quality assurance program, reviewed by the Administrator, for substance use disorder counseling services;</li><li>Ensuring that the behavioral and pharmacologic approaches to treatment are evidence based or based on objective information to provide treatment services consistent with recognized treatment principles and practices for each level of care and type of client served by the program;</li><li>Providing or ensuring, and documenting, that direct clinical supervision is provided at least one hour per week to all clinical staff, individually or in a group setting, with group supervision not to exceed 50 percent of supervision time.</li><li>Ensuring that substance use disorder counseling services are provided as specified in the client treatment plan, and coordinated with other client care services, if applicable, to provide continuity of care;</li><li>Ensuring that the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of clients with co-occurring disorders is provided by appropriately trained and qualified clinical staff, and that the clinical supervision of such staff is provided;</li><li>Assisting in developing and maintaining written job descriptions for substance Use Disorder counseling personnel, and assigning duties;</li><li>Assessing and participating in staff education activities and providing consultation to program personnel;</li><li>Providing orientation to and evaluation of new counseling staff prior to the assignment of counseling responsibilities;</li><li>Participating in the identification of quality care indicators and outcome objectives and collection and review of data to monitor program performance;</li><li>Planning for the provision of substance Use Disorder counseling services; and</li><li>Ensuring that clinical staff are supervised by appropriately credentialed staff.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>The Clinical Director shall meet at least the following qualifications:</li><li>A Ohio licensed psychologist who possesses a Certification of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders from the American Psychological Association, College of Professional Psychology, www.apa.org/college, is a certified clinical supervisor by The CSWMFT Board</li><li>A Ohio licensed clinical social worker, who is a certified clinical supervisor by The CSWMFT Board</li><li>A Ohio licensed professional counselor, or licensed marriage and family therapist, who is a certified clinical supervisor The CSWMFT Board</li><li>A Ohio licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor who, in addition, holds a Master's degree recognized by the Ohio Board of the CSWMFT .</li><li>The Clinical Director shall possess a valid and unrestricted professional license in Ohio as either a psychologist, licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional counselor, licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor, physician, or advanced nurse practitioner</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000-$100,000 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Medical Specialty:<ul><li>Addiction Medicine</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
