 About the role
 
 
 
 As our Provincial Advocacy Coordinator - Punjab you will have the overall responsibility of implementing WaterAid policy, advocacy and influencing plans at the provincial level with a focus on influencing WASH sector policy and practice. You will synergise to maximise WAP's efforts in the province for embedding the right to sanitation, water and hygiene for all the citizens with a focus on poor and excluded people. You will also support rolling out WAP's advocacy and influencing, and support field operations and partners to influence WASH service delivery and hygiene promotion.
 
 
 You will work closely with Government line departments, parliamentarians, consultants, researchers, auditors, academia, sector stakeholders and other NGOsto drive sustainable change.

 Policy Advocacy

 Assist in designing and delivering the Influencing and advocacy plan at the provincial level to achieve strategic objectives with a contribution to country strategic aims and global aims.

About the role

As our Provincial Advocacy Coordinator - Punjab you will have the overall responsibility of implementing WaterAid policy, advocacy and influencing plans at the provincial level with a focus on influencing WASH sector policy and practice. You will synergise to maximise WAP&rsquo;s efforts in the province for embedding the right to sanitation, water and hygiene for all the citizens with a focus on poor and excluded people. You will also support rolling out WAP&rsquo;s advocacy and influencing, and support field operations and partners to influence WASH service delivery and hygiene promotion.

You will work closely with Government line departments, parliamentarians, consultants, researchers, auditors, academia, sector stakeholders and other NGOs to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

Policy Advocacy
<ul><li>Assist in designing and delivering the Influencing and advocacy plan at the provincial level to achieve strategic objectives with a contribution to country strategic aims and global aims.</li>
<li>Develop and deliver operational plans, strategies including the budget for implementation of Influencing and Enabling Programmes at the provincial level in consultation with Provincail Manager &ndash; Punjab &amp; KP and Head of Program Strategy &amp; Policy.</li>

<li>Generate new ideas and contribute to designing the programme, advocacy campaigns, concept papers, and funding proposals.</li>

<li>Prepare project plans and budgets with relevance to policy &amp; advocacy at the provincial level and create synergies with similar initiatives.</li>

Summary of Program and Position:
Family Peace Centers promote peace and safety for Hawaii&rsquo;s families and communities by providing support and education for those who use violence, survivors, and their children. Violent and abusive behavior is learned and can be unlearned. Accepting responsibility and being accountable for one&rsquo;s behavior are critical in the path to peace. The consistent use of non-violent skills assures safety for survivors and children, promotes offender accountability, and solidifies an end to the cycle of violence in families and communities. Family Peace Centers emphasize partnership, equality and respect among and between all family members.
The Counselor Advocate is responsible for providing advocacy, counseling, and support services to domestic violence survivors, offenders and/or children exposed to domestic violence participating in the FPC program. This position is under the direct supervision of Program Supervisor.
 Essential Duties:<ul><li>
Plans, conducts, and completes intake/assessments in accordance with agency and program procedures.</li><li>
Plans and facilitates a variety of domestic violence intervention groups, as designated.</li><li>
Plans and provides individual counseling, case management, outreach, visitation, crisis intervention, home visits, and/or advocacy, as designated.</li><li>
Attends to the safety of survivors and children, as designated.</li><li>
Assures timely maintenance of accurate record keeping, data input, eHana input, payment processing and court reporting on clients enrolled in the component program.</li><li>
