The Opportunity:
The SAFe Agile Product Owner (Digital &amp; eCommerce) is responsible for maximizing the value of digital and eCommerce products within a scaled Agile environment. This role serves as the voice of the customer and key business stakeholders, translating strategic objectives into prioritized features and user stories that drive measurable business outcomes. Working closely with cross-functional Agile teams&mdash;including engineering, UX, analytics, marketing, and operations&mdash;the Product Owner ensures seamless delivery of high-quality, customer-centric digital experiences across web, mobile, and commerce platforms.
Operating within the SAFe framework, the Product Owner manages and prioritizes the team backlog, collaborates with Product Management on program vision and roadmap alignment, and actively participates in PI Planning and other Agile ceremonies. This role requires strong business acumen, technical fluency in digital and eCommerce ecosystems, and a data-driven mindset to optimize customer journeys, conversion performance, and overall digital growth.
What Your Impact Will Be:<ul><li>
Backlog Ownership &amp; Prioritization: Own and manage the Team Backlog, translating Features into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria; prioritize based on business value, customer impact, dependencies, and technical considerations.</li><li>
SAFe Alignment &amp; PI Planning: Collaborate with Product Management to align on product vision, roadmap, and feature priorities; actively participate in PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, system demos, and Inspect &amp; Adapt events.</li><li>

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Digital, eCommerce, Marketing, UX/UI, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, and external vendors to gather requirements, clarify scope, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.</li><li>
Customer-Centric Story Development: Act as the voice of the customer by leveraging data, research, and stakeholder feedback to create user stories that improve end-to-end customer journeys.</li><li>
Acceptance Criteria &amp; Definition of Done: Define clear acceptance criteria for all stories and ensure alignment with Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) standards.</li><li>
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead and/or participate in User Acceptance Testing to validate delivered functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria; document defects, coordinate issue resolution, and provide formal acceptance or rejection of completed work.</li><li>
Release Support &amp; Readiness: Support release planning and readiness activities, including validating production deployments, coordinating go-live checklists, and monitoring post-release performance.</li><li>
Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor KPIs and digital performance metrics (e.g., conversion rate, AOV, cart abandonment, engagement) to inform backlog prioritization and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>
Risk &amp; Dependency Management: Identify and proactively manage risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies to ensure on-time delivery of committed objectives.</li><li>
Compliance &amp; Quality Assurance: Ensure digital and eCommerce solutions meet security, privacy, accessibility, and brand standards.</li><li>
Continuous Improvement: Champion Agile best practices, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and drive ongoing process and product improvements.</li></ul>

Qualifications 
What We&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>
Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year college/university is required.</li><li>
Experience: 10+ years relevant experience in Business Analyst role and/or Product Owner role and/or Digital Quality Assurance with strong capabilities in requirements definition and writing user stories and acceptance criteria</li><li>
Production of digital properties (websites, mobile apps, emails, social media apps, etc.)</li><li>
Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile SAFE delivery and management of product backlog</li><li>

You Are:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce (SFDC) Product Owner - Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for Salesforce programs while owning product backlog, stakeholder alignment, and delivery outcomes. 


The opportunity:
<ul><li> Product Ownership</li></ul>
<ul><li> Own and manage the Salesforce product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client priorities.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Define product vision, roadmap, and release plans for Salesforce platforms (Sales, Service, Experience, and related clouds).</li></ul>
<ul><li> Translate business requirements into clear user stories with acceptance criteria.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Prioritize backlog items to maximize business value and manage trade-offs across scope, timelines, and dependencies.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Partner with Salesforce Architects and Technical Leads to validate solution approaches and feasibility.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Scrum Master &amp; Agile Leadership</li></ul>
<ul><li> Facilitate all Agile/Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum values, and continuous improvement practices.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Remove impediments, manage delivery risks, and shield teams from external disruptions.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, burn-up, and release progress.</li></ul> 


This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required. 
What you need:
<ul><li> 8+ years of overall IT experience.</li></ul>
<ul><li> 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master in Agile environments.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Strong experience working on Salesforce (SFDC) platforms such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Proven experience managing enterprise stakeholders and cross-functional teams.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile delivery tools.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Excellent communication, facilitation, and decision-making skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Preferred Qualifications</li></ul>
<ul><li> Salesforce certifications (Administrator / Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / Business Analyst).</li></ul>
<ul><li> Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM I/II, or SAFe Agilist.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Experience in Healthcare, Insurance, or large enterprise platforms.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Experience working with onshore-offshore delivery models and client-facing roles.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Exposure to Scaled Agile / SAFe environments.</li></ul> 


Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Georgia

Compensation Range: $92,000-$138,000 


Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company&rsquo;s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company&rsquo;s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
