Summary: The AI Solutions Engineer will be responsible for the design, building development and deployment of GenAI-powered tools and agents across our business operations. Working closely alongside our Senior AI Solutions Engineer, this role will contribute hands-on coding, AI integration, and workflow automation efforts&mdash;helping the organization streamline internal processes and boost productivity and quality. General Description: The AI Solutions Engineer must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced office environment in meeting continual deadlines. Participates in technical consulting activities, communicating AI capabilities to clinical and operational stakeholders. Integrates AI tools into existing business systems and processes. Collaborates directly with process owners to understand task logic and data flows, translating requirements into working solutions. Ensures security, data privacy, and human-in-the-loop review where needed. Maintains and documents AI systems to support stability and reproducibility. Applies clean coding standards and DevOps best practices. Provides guidance and informal mentoring to the Junior AI Solutions Engineer, assisting with onboarding, code review, and knowledge transfer. What would a typical day look like for you?
As an AI Solutions Engineer reporting to the Data and Analytics Delivery Manager and working with Data Scientists in both Danske Bank UK and Europe, you'll be a driving force in revolutionising our AI initiatives.

 As an AI Solutions Engineer, you will play a central role in bringing AI capabilities into production across Keylane. Your work will help identify where AI can make the biggest impact for our customers and our business.
 
 
 
 
 
 You will act as Keylane's AI specialist in customer conversations, helping customers explore opportunities for AI within their business processes and translating their needs into practical solutions that can be embedded within our software platforms. Together with product teams, software engineers, architects, and other stakeholders, you will turn ideas into scalable AI capabilities that deliver measurable value.
 
 
 
 
 
 From intelligent assistants and retrieval-based solutions to more advanced agentic workflows, you will design, build, and operationalize AI-powered functionality across Keylane's products. Working within Microsoft's Azure ecosystem, you will help establish the practices needed to operate AI reliably and responsibly, including evaluation, monitoring, testing, and performance optimization.
 
 
 
 
 
 As Keylane's data capabilities continue to mature, you will also contribute to broader machine learning initiatives such as predictive modelling, anomaly detection, and intelligent document processing.  At least 4 years of experience in Applied AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field, including hands-on experience delivering AI-powered solutions in production environments;

 Strong Python development skills;

 Experience working with modern AI frameworks, building AI-powered applications and agents, and applying model fine-tuning techniques such as instruction tuning, LoRA, or QLoRA;

 <li>
 Experience operationalizing AI solutions, including prompt management, evaluation, monitoring, testing, and continuous improvement in production environments;
 </li>
 <li>
 A solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including model evaluation, feature engineering, and statistical concepts;
 </li>

 Experience working with data, including SQL and data preparation techniques;
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;

 As an AI Solutions Engineer reporting to the Data and Analytics Delivery Manager and working with Data Scientists in both Danske Bank UK and Europe, you'll be a driving force in revolutionising our AI initiatives.
 
 
 You will innovate and deploy leading-edge solutions on platforms like MS Azure and AWS, working on knowledge assistants and agents, leveraging the OpenAI and anthropic models, and contributing to proof-of-concept projects that will shape our ecosystem's future. You'll work on robust AI applications, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines, mastering cloud infrastructure by blending AWS with non-AWS solutions, and tackling financial services industry challenges head-on.
