Job Summary</b></h2>

The work of Agent Cargo includes computer data entry; prepares all flight documents; interfaces with U.S. Customs; prepares all import and export documentation, and accepts/distributes cargo in accordance with applicable air carrier and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Complies lists of customers for use as sales leads. Solicits orders or talks with customers to complete sales. Quotes prices and terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company&rsquo;s delivery schedules. Moves cargo up to 70lbs. Comply with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations. The work of a Ramp/Warehouse Agent includes the following: loading and unloading of cargo (mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material) on and off aircraft; the transporting of cargo between terminals and aircraft; the ramp transfers of cargo where required; the receiving, delivering, and physical handling of freight and company material, export at the designated express docks, mail and baggage in the outbound baggage room; the completion of forms and messages related to and necessary for the performance of the designated locations of the functions described. The cleaning and servicing of cabin interiors, including cockpit and lavatories; draining lavatories; checking, handling, assembling, removing and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies. Transporting such furnishings and supplies to and from aircraft. Assisting in loading, unloading and racking both filled and empty drums. In addition, de-icing aircraft, clear aircraft windshields, pushout/two aircraft and related guide man functions; connect/remove ground power and ground start units. May be required to clean the exterior of aircraft with specialized cleaning fluids. May be assigned to perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities with or without powered equipment. May be assigned to assist in monitoring security of facility. May be assigned to do routine automotive repair; servicing and cleaning of powered and unpowered equipment. Load and unload aircraft of cargo weighing up to 70 lbs. in and out of aircraft within confined cargo areas, push, pull, and position loaded containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs. on rollers with/to aircraft.</li><li>
Driving vehicles with gross weights of 3,000 to 80,000 lbs. in areas congested with aircraft, moving and stationary vehicles and equipment as well as positioning vehicle up to aircraft requiring depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors, red, green, and yellow.</li><li>
Engage in push-out of aircraft driving 80,000 lb. vehicle or assist by providing guide function to driver using depth perception in congested areas or speaking to cockpit during push-back procedure.</li><li>
Transport cargo to and from aircraft driving 3,000 lb. vehicle using depth perception to negotiate vehicle with attached carts through congested area.</li><li>

The Cargo Agent will be primarily responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring strict compliance with safety and security protocols with cargo handling. <p><b>
Job Responsibilities include:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Load/unload air cargo from/to vehicles/trucks</li>
<li>Maintain and operate a forklift, tug and pallet jack safely and efficiently</li>
<li>Adhere to all FAA, Airport, and Air General safety and security procedures</li>
<li>Present cargo documents to U.S. Customs, Immigration, USDA and any other relevant agencies to achieve the necessary releases and clearances</li>
<li>Understand and prepare documentation for tracing action, perform follow-up, and keep customer informed of progress or their shipment</li>
<li>Take special measures to ensure proper handling of valuables, perishables, live animal shipments, and special loads</li>
<li>Obtain Customs Log Number and appropriate flight clearances</li>
<li>Reconcile Master and House air waybills, as applicable</li>
<li>Verify booking details and make corrections where applicable</li>
<li>Any other duties assigned by supervisors or managers</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Requirements:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>Must be able to obtain a valid airport SIDA badge.</li>
<li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li>
<li>Must have a valid and unexpired US Driver&rsquo;s license.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.</li>
<li>Candidates must possess some intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs.</li>
<li>Must be able to clearly understand and communicate in English when performing essential job functions.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security background checks, applicable Custom Security Seal, and post offer drug screens.</li>
<li>Be available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li>
<li>Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced, high-noise environment, and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Some travel may be required for airline specific training.</li>
