ATCS&rsquo;s are responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious movement of air traffic through the nation's airspace. 
As a member of the Air Traffic Control team, you can expect to:<ul><li>

Requirements to join the team:<ul><li>
US Citizenship</li><li>
An FAA Second Class Medical Certificate</li><li>
Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience as an air traffic controller with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.</li><li>
A Control Tower Operator (CTO) rating or a Credential with a Tower Rating and 6 months of practical experience in accordance with 14 CFR Part 65.39</li><li><div><ul><li>

Air Traffic Control Specialist - Yakima, WA (YKM)

</div><div>To lead large and highly complex of safe operational Air Traffic Control (ATC) services including the provision of On-the-Job Training Instruction (OJTI) to air traffic control students and controllers not holding a current Certificate of Competency. Related tasks and administrative duties as detailed by Manager. 
Perform O, I and D Level when its applicable. 
 
1. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
 
2. The provision of approach radar control services, flight information services and alerting services to aircraft operating Abu Dhabi area of responsibility. 
3. Maintain a thorough operational knowledge and understanding of the equipment and systems used for the provision of air traffic services at Abu Dhabi. 
4. Support appropriate manning of operational positions through watch staffing, the opening / closing of sectors and the utilization of staff as required. 
5. Monitor, record and report the serviceability status of equipment essential to the provision of ATC services during the period of his watch to ensure appropriate NOTAM action is taken. 
6. Provide OJTI duties as required by Manager ATS in accordance with the Unit Training and Assessment Plan (UTAP). 
7. Alerting services to initiate search and rescue operations as required. 
8. Distribute as required meteorological information necessary for the safe and orderly handling of traffic. 
9. Participate in pre-watch briefings for the subsequent watch concerning all known conditions affecting safety and/or regularity of air traffic within Abu Dhabi airspace. 
10. Report failures, abnormal occurrences or any other conditions likely to constitute a safety hazard. 
11. Observe staff instructions and administrative rules pertaining to conduct in the operational area. 
12. Provide operational feedback to management on proposed airspace procedures and system changes.

Aircraft Technician III

<div>Essential Responsibilities:
The designee is responsible for guiding and assisting host nation in the overall the safe and orderly flow of air traffic within their designated airspace. This designee maintains situational awareness of the overall flow of air traffic operations at the facility assigned and is responsible for all ATC facility operations and services during their shift. Rules of separation must be applied to achieve the required separation as outlined in FAA manuals and orders. The designee coordinates with various controllers and personnel to relay information which pertains to the aircraft and in the interest of safety of flight including emergency information. The designee will be familiar with radar or control tower operations and apply the required separation of aircraft. The individual is responsible for vehicles and personnel operating on the airfield- when operating in a control tower environment. Along with controlling aircraft the designee must be able to process flight plans and supervise approach, departure, and arrival procedures. The designee will have a full working knowledge of control tower operations and flight planning and a fundamental knowledge of RADAR/Manual approach control operations when operating in a control tower. Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:<ul>

ATC Specialist, Liaison – CIC

 Essential Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 The designee is responsible for guiding and assisting host nation in the overall the safe and orderly flow of air traffic within their designated airspace. This designee maintains situational awareness of the overall flow of air traffic operations at the facility assigned and is responsible for all ATC facility operations and services during their shift. Rules of separation must be applied to achieve the required separation as outlined in FAA manuals and orders. The designee coordinates with various controllers and personnel to relay information which pertains to the aircraft and in the interest of safety of flight including emergency information. The designee will be familiar with radar or control tower operations and apply the required separation of aircraft. The individual is responsible for vehicles and personnel operating on the airfield- when operating in a control tower environment. Along with controlling aircraft the designee must be able to process flight plans and supervise approach, departure, and arrival procedures. The designee will have a full working knowledge of control tower operations and flight planning and a fundamental knowledge of RADAR/Manual approach control operations when operating in a control tower. The designee will have a full working knowledge of RADAR/Manual approach control operations and flight planning and a fundamental knowledge of control tower operations when operating from a radar facility.
 
 
 
 Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

 <li>
 Graduate of an approved DoD or FAA ATC course.
 </li>
 <li>
 Eight (8) years of experience, one (1) year of experience must be from performing in a like type facility. Knowledge of ATC rules, regulations, and techniques; control tower and approach control operations. Tower controllers shall hold one of the following tower certifications: FAA Control Tower Operator (CTO) certificate, FAA or AOV Credential with Tower rating, or equivalent. Radar controllers shall hold one of the following radar certifications: Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) certificate, FAA or AOV Credential with Radar rating, FAA or DoD training records, or equivalent.

 <li>
 Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Class II Medical Certificate
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to obtain and maintain a US CENTCOM Medical Exam
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
