POSITION OVERVIEW:
</b></p><p>The F-16 C/D Electrical and Environmental (E&amp;E) Specialist fabricates, maintains, and tests electronic systems and components. Adjusts, repairs, and when necessary, modifies systems and components, and replaces malfunctioning equipment as needed. May be responsible for requirements analysis, systems analysis, performance analysis, and independent test and acceptance of system components.</p><p></p><p><b>
DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><p>
Performs and supervises aircraft electrical and environmental (E&amp;E) functions and activities performing as an experienced 5 Level Journeyman or 7 Level Craftsman.</p><p></p><p>
Troubleshoots, inspects, removes, installs, repairs, modifies, overhauls, and operates aircraft E&amp;E systems, components, and associated support equipment.</p><p></p><p>
Uses technical data, wiring diagrams, ohm meters, electronic measuring equipment, GSE and special tools. Expert level in accomplishing and training of wire repair procedures.</p><p></p><p>
Uploads operational software, flight programs (OFP) into system components and maintains currency and software upgrade efficiency.</p><p></p><p>
Expert level to inspect, analyze and evaluate electrical and environmental systems malfunctions, aircraft heating/air conditioning, avionics cooling, cabin pressure, OBOGS, fire and overheat detection systems, AC power system, DC power system, external power system, lighting system to include, exterior, interior, emergency, position lights, anti-collision, formation, slipway lights, taxi light.</p><p></p><p>
Remove install, adjust, operational check, bench-check, service the following: landing gear system, handle, control switches, arresting hook indication/canopy indication/overheat fire/master caution/fuel warning and control systems, anti-skid, brake holding, nose gear steering, secondary flight control, engine bleed air, fire extinguishing system, squibs, fire bottles, start and ignition/air conditioning/pressurization systems and liquid cooling systems.</p><p></p><p>
Interprets inspection findings and determines adequacy of corrective actions.</p><p></p><p>
Reviews maintenance management publications, time compliance technical orders and procedures for accuracy and currency, confirms corrective actions and accuracy of aircraft maintenance records.</p><p></p><p>
Recommends methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance procedures. Acts as quality assurance for the trade.</p><p></p><p>
Performs OJT and instruction, supervises and accepts work performed by RAFO technicians, acts as supervisor and mentor for the shop and directs daily maintenance performed.</p><p></p><p>
Required to perform assigned tasks within your work center that directly supports necessary functions of this job classification.</p><p></p><p><b>
REQUIREMENTS:</b></p><p>
Recent, 5 years F-16 electrical and environmental (E&amp;E) Block 40 or above experience.</p><p></p><p>
Very experienced 2A6X6 5 level or 7 skill level or equivalent with proven record of F-16 flightline (Organizational) or back shop (Intermediate) maintenance environment.</p><p></p><p>
Must be willing to train to other aircraft maintenance tasks as required.</p><p></p><p>

RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div><ul><li>
Follow established procedures in relation to receiving and processing equipment facility orders and returns from the field</li><li>
Source equipment internally and through 3rd party rental and service suppliers</li><li>
Generate purchase orders for equipment purchases and rentals</li><li>
Reconcile and process the billing of contracts, invoices, and work orders daily</li><li>
Support electronic Inventory Management</li><li>
Support physical Inventory Management on project sites or within equipment facilities</li><li>
Update and change, as needed, Task Code and Off-Rent date with input from project teams (customers)</li><li>
Responsible for Inventory Management reporting to teams, which includes scheduled and on-demand<br>
reporting; includes review and quality control of reports</li><li>
Reconciliation of fleet invoicing with accounting, fleet vendors and project teams</li><li>
Provide equipment solutions and issue resolution for project teams, including recommendations for type<br>
and maintenance of equipment</li><li>
Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels</li></ul><div><b>
QUALIFICATIONS</b></div><ul><li>
High school diploma or GED required</li><li>
1+ year of rental equipment, construction, and/or professional experience</li><li>
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)</li><li>
Attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>
Effective written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Positive, professional attitude with strong customer service skills</li><li>
Ability to multitask</li><li>
Planning and organizational skills</li><li>

The base pay range for this role is $59,300 - $80,000. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL &ndash; 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR &ndash; 10%, Washington, D.C. &ndash; 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual&rsquo;s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson&rsquo;s incentive plan.</div><div><b>

Associate Equipment Specialist - Wind (Non-Traveler)

</div><div>Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft electrical systems maintenance. Carries out directives from the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.<br>
<br>
Will also be responsible for:<br>
<br>
1. Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of aircraft and equipment electrical systems in accordance with applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures. Assists in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.<br>
2. Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with DA PAM 738-751, applicable technical publications, applicable regulations, and company and local policies and procedures.<br>
3. Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner (advice, support, and On the Job Training to customer trainees) to permit assimilation into the workforce; the final aim being to enable the customer's technicians to attain gradual full capacity to carry out self sufficient aircraft electrical repair capability.<br>
4. Carry out all assigned tasks by the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.
