Lead Aircraft Mechanic (Hydraulics &amp; Pneumatics workshop) is r esponsible for carrying out maintenance tasks on Emirates and third party aircraft components in accordance with laid down procedures and regulations. The Lead Aircraft Mechanic will work as part of a team under the direction and guidance of the assigned Licensed Engineer within the trade disciplines for which they have been trained.
In this role you will:

<ul><li>Carry out routine servicing tasks as required in accordance with component maintenance manual

<ul><li>Complete any component replacement and other maintenance activities as directed by immediate supervisor. This will include the ability to obtain and understand Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts catalogue (IPC) or other approved documentation required to carry out this task.

<ul><li>Effectively use any specialised tooling or test equipment that may be required as part of the checking, testing, replacement or servicing of a system or component. Understand the need for such equipment as referenced in the component manufacturer's manuals is essential.

<ul><li>Communicate at various levels and liaise with other areas over technical issues for all relevant parties to be aware of the aircrafts serviceability status.
</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Understand of the company documentation where it is required that mechanics sign for tasks action on routine documentation to ensure the maintenance of tools, equipment and systems (including ultramain) in the relevant workplace.

<ul><li>Maintain and ensure the safety of self and others by taking safety precautions at all times, continuously monitoring the working area and taking corrective action to keep it clean and obstruction free to avoid any accidents.

Knowledge/skills:
-Vocational/ National / Higher National Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved maintenance organisation.
-Experience carrying out maintenance on aircraft in an engineering environment.
-In depth knowledge of maintenance safety, human factors and general engineering practices is an essential requirement.
-A complete knowledge of the airport authority's regulations regarding Airside Driving and aircraft movements may be a requirement depending on the work discipline. This will include the safe movement around aircraft on the ramp/in base including an understanding of all signs and road markings of working in such an environment if required in this area of operation.
-Must be able to hold a valid Airport Driving Permit as required.

Position requires a skilled Corrosion Control technician that can perform corrosion control maintenance on H-60 helicopters, which also includes visual structural inspections, corrosion prone area inspections, components, and corrosion treatment of affected areas.

Essential Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Current or previous experience performing corrosion control on aviation aircraft to include but not limited to:</li>
<li>
Perform task as assigned/directed Supervisor with instructions, applicable technical data, manuals, and directives.</li>

Preserve and de-preserve aircraft.</li>
<li>
Perform touch up painting. Touch up is defined as an area no larger than one square foot, excluding aircraft leading edges.</li>
<li>
Assist in the preparation of the aircraft and/ or components for complete repainting including the application of model, labels, and the makeup, cut out and preparations of stencils.</li>

Use hand and power tools as required for corrosion prevention, treatment and touch up painting.</li>

Aircraft Mechanic III

<div>The Aircraft Mechanic III (UH60) performs the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance and maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of complex to extreme difficulty.<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>

<div>The Aircraft Mechanic II (Sheetmetal) maintains, modifies, and integrates the aircraft structure and its parts.<div>

Your duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):<ul><li>
You will be subject to work first, second, third, or weekend shift, as directed by the Aircraft Maintenance Manager.</li><li>

Fault isolation, troubleshooting, and repair of system failures detected during operational checks associated with modifications and restoration of aircraft to flying condition subsequent to accomplishment of modifications and maintenance. Interprets and uses various test equipment and works from wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, job guides, and maintenance manuals.</li></ul>
Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>
Must have a high school diploma or GED and 4 years additional education and/or experience with mechanical/aircraft airframe/power plants/turboprop/egress/avionics and/or crew chief experience.</li><li>
Must have the ability to read and interpret technical data and blueprint drawings.</li><li>
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

Primary Level Salary Range: $55,800.00 - $93,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
