   Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills.

   Read and interpret manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.

   Supervises the jacking and towing of aircraft, enters in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verifies the work was performed satisfactorily, service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition, specialize in work, repair and modification of structural, precision, and functional spare parts and assemblies, and specialize in engine repair.

 Position Summary

 The Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor supervises the Aircraft Maintenance Program and Aircraft Mechanics in the Wisconsin Air Services Section and reports to the Wisconsin Air Services Chief (Enterprise Program Section Chief), working under general supervision. This position provides technical leadership, supervision of maintenance personnel and oversight of maintenance operation to ensure the safety, reliability and regulatory compliance of the state aircraft fleet.

 The Aircraft Maintenance Program is responsible for inspection, technical maintenance, and repair work on the enterprise fleet of state-owned aircraft, including: 1998 Beechcraft King Air 350, three 2001 Pilatus PC-12s, Cessna 172s, Cessna 337, and single-engine Cessna aircraft used by the Department of Administration, Department of Natural Resources, and Department of Transportation to fulfill business operations. These aircraft support a variety of missions including executive transport, natural resource management, law enforcement support and other state operational needs.

 The fleet includes aircraft with advanced systems, such as Garmin 1000 avionics and Bendix King EFS 40/50 systems, as well as Pratt and Whitney PT6 turbine engine systems.

<li>When exercising authority under RII provisions, Mechanic will be directly responsible to Director of Quality and Engineering</li>
<li>Attend all training courses as assigned by any supervisor</li>
<li>Comply with all company rules, regulations, and procedures set forth in company manuals and policies developed by supervisor</li>
<li>Keep a constant watch for safety, excessive cost of labor duplication, ensure proper and adequate equipment is used, acceptable parts or components are installed and approved hardware or supplies are used</li>
<li>At stations where a Lead Mechanic is available, coordinate all troubleshooting work requests and part requirements with Lead Mechanic(s), otherwise coordinate with Maintenance Control</li>

</b></h3></div><div></div><div><div><div><div><p>As an Aircraft Mechanic &ndash; Paint Shop in the Workshop you will be responsible to perform all required work in accordance with approved technical data, QR standards and procedures; meeting the highest shop practices and safety to provide operational results as set by the unit. Responsible for the completion of any assigned tasks within frame work of procedures and set timeframes by performing effectively within an environment of time constrains and a high level of technical competency.</p><p><b>
Operational Accountabilities;</b></p><ul><li><div>
Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks to provide satisfactory service to customers.</div></li><li><div>
To operate equipment or tooling relating to work area to meet time frame objectives for tasks.</div></li><li><div>
Able to interpret information over a range of normal activities to maintain satisfactory continuous operation. Able to predominantly continue with assigned tasks without supervision, under normal conditions. To meet set productivity standards.</div></li><li><div>
Perform other department duties related to his position as directed by the head of the department.</div></li><li><div>

Minimum 05 Years of Certifying Experience.</p></li><li><p>
Degree or Equivalent Diploma/License in Aircraft Maintenance.</p></li><li><p>
Basic ICAO type II license.</p></li><li><p>
Trade related Certificates</p></li><li><p>
At least one-year practical experience in the technical field within a similar work area.</p></li><li><p>
Trade related reinforcement training.</p></li><li><p>
Recognized aeronautical / technical training certificates.</p></li><li><p>
