<p>
Responsible for operating gasoline and large diesel-powered machinery in a safe and appropriate manner. Specific duties include heavy equipment maintenance, snow and ice removal, airfield signage and lighting, glycol conveyance, pavement repair and maintenance; year-round airfield maintenance, including garages, parking areas, and pavements. This position assists with snow removal operations on varying shifts, based on operational needs.</p>
<p><b>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Mows grass to comply with visibility Part 139 CVG airfield regulations.</li>
<li>Assists with design and installing landscape. Mows, prunes and maintains grass and plants. Removes and shapes trees.</li>
<li>Performs pavement repair and general maintenance including concrete, blacktop and joint repair.</li>
<li>Ensures Airfield paint markings, signage and lighting comply with Part 139 and Kentucky Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations</li>
<li>Performs fence replacement and general maintenance.</li>
<li>Performs snow and ice removal.</li>
<li>Performs ditch-line and catch basin repair and maintenance and other excavation work.</li>
<li>Cleans, maintains and secures all heavy equipment.</li>
<li>Assists in emergencies on CVG Airport property 24/7.</li>
<li>Routinely inputs labor and materials into CMMS</li>
<li>Safety Trainer position responsibilities: provide training for airfield maintenance personnel regarding CDL, safety and snow removal; writes training programs and standard operating procedures.</li>

Summary/Objective</b></p><p>
The purpose of this position is to assist the Airport Security Coordinator in planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of airport security. This position performs a wide variety of security and/or operations duties. The position works both independently and supervised and uses considerable independent judgment in dealing with difficult situations. The incumbent receives work assignments, instructions, and evaluations by the Airport Security Coordinator.</p><p><b>
Essential Functions</b></p><p><b>
Performs security functions in the airport.</b></p><ul><li>
Answers calls and complaints involving routine contacts with airport tenants, airline operators, and the public.</li><li>
Performs daytime and nighttime safety and security inspections of the airport operations area (AOA), Security Identification Display area (SIDA), Secured Area, and Sterile area prevents public entry, and documents discrepancies. Conducts security patrols, issues security challenges, and conducts vehicle security inspections.</li><li>
Responds to Airport security emergencies.</li><li>
Teaches classes, takes fingerprints, and performs other identification duties in the course of issuing security access identification media.</li><li>
Enforces Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations and standard operating procedures related to airport security and safety.</li><li>
Communicates with tenants, operators, airlines, and other airport divisions regarding routine security matters.</li><li>
Operates computer-controlled security access system and monitors closed circuit television for violations of security and safety regulations.</li><li>
Issues timely and accurate Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs) reflecting conditions on and around the airfield.</li><li>
Formulates and implements procedures for use in the event of airport security incidents</li><li>

Job Summary</b></p></div><div><p>
The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician is responsible for the execution of aircraft ground handling and servicing operations at an assigned installation. Reporting directly to the Supervisor, the TAS Technician performs aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn-around, and departure tasks in support of mission requirements.</p></div><div><p>
This position ensures all aircraft servicing activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), applicable Technical Orders, airfield safety standards, and U.S. Government/U.S. Air Force directives. The TAS Technician is accountable for maintaining operational readiness, adhering to strict safety protocols, and supporting continuous 24/7/365 flight line operations in a high-tempo, austere environment.</p></div><p></p><div><p><b>
Roles and Responsibilities</b></p></div><div><div><ul><li><p>
Maintain a ZERO Harm workplace by strictly adhering to all flight line safety requirements, including FOD prevention, tool control, and proper use of PPE at all times.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, and positioning in accordance with applicable Technical Orders and airfield procedures.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Execute aircraft arrival and departure services, including chocking, grounding, and ensuring safe positioning on the flight line.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Conduct aircraft servicing operations, including general ground handling tasks required to support aircraft turn-around and mission readiness.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Assist in aircraft launch and recovery operations in coordination with Supervisors and Airfield Management.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Perform operator-level inspections and servicing of assigned equipment, including vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Maintain strict accountability of tools and equipment; ensure compliance with tool control programs at all times.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
Participate in FOD prevention activities, including routine flight line inspections and immediate removal of foreign objects.</p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>
