As an expert in the Baggage Handling, the PLB, and the BME operations, ensure that CONOPS, SOP, BCP, training, and the resources and services required for the operations are available, accurate, up to date, and optimized to achieve business objectives including capacity, performance, availability, and operating cost.</p></li><li><p>
Keep close contact and coordinate with Flight Data Management and Resource Planning team to acquire the most updated flight schedule and passenger load forecast for the current and the next two seasons as soon as the information is available.</p></li><li><p>
Through personal visits and periodic meetings, keep in contact and coordinate with stakeholders such as Qatar Airways and AOC representative to gather intelligence and prediction on industry trend.</p></li><li><p>
Attend innovation workshops and project meetings to keep in contact and coordinate with other Matar departments including TOPS, IT, FM, and Commercial departments for projects, initiatives, and events information. Monitor local news, rule and regulations such as MOPH requirements, labour law, severe weather warning, school holidays, major Expo or sports events, public holidays, in order to do forward planning and anticipate any potential operational requirements.</p></li><li><p>
Supervise the Business Improvement Analyst and Scheduling operators to combine flight schedule data, passenger load forecast, industry trends information, projects, initiatives, and events information into demand forecast.</p></li><li><p>
Supervise the operations planning team to develop operations response plan to the demand forecast and special events.</p></li><li><p>
Develop and propose to the Airport Management the resource and service requirements needed to support the operations response plan.</p></li><li><p>
Supervise the Scheduling Operator to create and distribute appropriate shift roster in line with the resource requirement of the department.</p></li><li><p>
Identify and define operations process required to support the operations response plan.</p></li><li><p>
Support the implementation and control of the document control procedures in the Department.</p></li><li><p>
Compile, coordinate, review, approve, support, as well as develop baggage handling, PLB, and BME reference documents such as SOP, BCP, OWi, O&amp;M manuals, as build drawings, design drawings, functional design specification, operations concept, training materials, and etc. to ensure high level of standards meeting with the business objectives.</p></li><li><p>
Identify competencies and/or skill gaps of relevant stakeholders' s personnel, coordinate, develop, facilitate and conduct training related to BHS, PLB, and BME related facilities, systems, and services in order to ensure safety, security, efficiency, and high level of services for all stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>
Develop, review, and/or approve the documents required in the procurement process such as business case, feasibility study, TOR, SOW, technical specifications, BOO, project and delivery plan, evaluation criteria, QCC, RFI, proof of service delivery, etc.</p></li><li><p>
Develop, review, analyse, and manage the responses to contractors, suppliers, other airport department, and other stakeholders for any queries related to the BHS, PLB, and BME operations in general.</p></li><li><p>

</li><li>Control expenditure on damage baggage replacement and lost baggage claims. Delegate some of the baggage claims processing to the Supervisors/ASAs, to ensure all of the baggage services aspects are processed effectively and in a timely manner.
</li><li>Assist the Airport Services Manager in preparing and maintaining the staff duty roster and in preparing the staff annual leave plan as necessary and ensure staffing levels are optimised.
</li><li>Undertake various administrative duties delegated by Airport Services Manager including attending various meetings as directed and ensure Emirates interests/requirements are appropriately represented at such meetings.
</li><li>Assist the ASM in Employee Regulation Programme and in conducting staff performance reviews in line with Performance Matters (i.e. setting staff?s objectives and development plan) and support, coach and guide staff members to ensure maintenance of customer service and other standards such as grooming.
</li><li>Manage and administer all operational/supervisory activities on a shift basis and ensure appropriate control of processes related to document and information consolidation (revenue documents , cargo, handling reports etc) in order to safeguard revenues; operational data and avoid discrepancies.
</li><li>Monitoring of all operational units (Customer Services, Ticket desk, Ramp and Lounge). Establish a regular reporting mechanism to ensure there is a timely and consistent monitoring of service delivery, across operations. </p><p>As <b>Head of Operational Performance </b>, you will drive global operational excellence across dnata Airport Operations through performance initiatives, service frameworks, and transformation programmes. The role supports strategic delivery by embedding continuous improvement, optimising operations, and enhancing safety, efficiency, and customer experience. It applies data-driven techniques to improve productivity and resource planning, while leading change and supporting integration and execution at station level. This is a full-time role based out of our Dubai office, which will require frequent (and sometimes extended) business travel.

</b></div><ul><li>Lead and support operational transformation and strategic programmes across dnata Airport Operations using Management of Change frameworks and industrial engineering tools (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping), delivering measurable improvements and supporting post-implementation adoption.

</p><p>As <b>Department Manager Airside Operations </b>, you will manage and control resource planning and business continuity planning, on all operational areas, whilst meeting quality, safety and regulatory standards at all times; to measure delivery targets (KPIs) as mentioned in the service level agreements (SLAs).

</li><li>Ensure that results and corrective/preventive actions from safety incident investigations are communicated and implemented in collaboration with safety team, to protect the wellbeing of all employees and company assets.
</li><li>Manage ISAGO accreditations and prepares the teams for any audit requirements by customer airlines and other regulatory bodies.
