 Under general supervision, dispense fuel into transient and based aircraft; marshal, park, and reposition aircraft; perform daily inspections of airfield pavement, lighting, and NAVAIDS; observe airfield activity to assist in enforcing airport rules, regulations and minimum standards; and environmental guidelines are followed.  The Ramp Service Agent is responsible for the handling of customer luggage, including loading and unloading baggage on and off the aircraft, marshaling in and pushing back the aircraft, operation of ground service equipment (GSE), meet arriving flights and service departing flights, assist customers with special needs, assist customer service agents, as needed, and any other assigned duties.

 Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates, i.e., ramp, commissary and aircraft cleaning activities.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Move luggage and co-mail of various weight and dimensions to and from aircraft and airport luggage receiving area.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Load and unload baggage, luggage, and co-mail.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Operate ground equipment, including tugs and belt loaders.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Marshal aircraft to and from gates.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Provide proper handling of baggage requiring special care.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Service aircraft lavatories.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Perform aircraft interior cleaning.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Responsible for aircraft security searches and commissary security searches.
 <br/>
 <br/>
 Ensure ramp areas are safe and free of FOD and that all ground equipment is properly maintained.
 <br/>

 Follow safety regulations which include the proper use of ground equipment and wearing proper safety items.

 Able to communicate using a two-way radio.

 Must be at least 18 years old.

 Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment. Must be able to carry 70-pound suitcase from the floor to 18 inches and carry 70-pound suitcase in front of you with both hands for a distance of up to 25 feet; must have physical dexterity sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending at the waist and knees, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting and sustaining those positions for extended amounts of time. Must have sufficient vision and ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position.

JOB DESCRIPTION</b></p><p>

The work of the Floor Attendant includes: Performing a full range of food preparation, cleaning, and customer service for the Lounge. The duties of a Floor Attendant include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>
Maintains a neat work environment, kitchen and passenger seating area including picking up trash, washing dirty dishes, restocking and arranging buffet and food offerings, magazines and newspapers in an orderly fashion, etc</li><li>
Restocks food and beverage offerings including; chaffing dishes, crock pots, trays, snacks, coffee, cups, glasses, ice, etc. in all service areas</li><li>
Completes any paperwork related to daily inventory / orders</li><li>
Meets customer and passenger needs through courteous customer service skills via clubroom/bar environment</li><li>
Maintains current city and state approved badged and permits, as applicable</li><li>
Adheres to all local and state health department and other state agency regulations</li><li>
Ability to function in the duties of a Customer Service Assistant if necessary</li></ul><p><b>
JOB REQUIREMENTS</b><br>
Ability to successfully pass airport authority security background check. High school diploma or GED is preferred. Related background in customer service or restaurant/bar service. Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age as applicable by law. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and possess verbal communication skills necessary to communicate with customers, passengers, and co-workers. Able to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.</p><p><b>
