The purpose of this position is to drive technical excellence in Analog design of power management integrated circuits, delivering hands-on block and top-level design from specification to clean database in collaboration with block lead designers.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Design, verification and simulation of CMOS Analog blocks for power management circuits including voltage references, bias circuits, comparators and amplifiers meeting performance, area and power specifications.</li><li>
Collaborate with block leads to achieve system and design strategy for power management products.</li><li>
Guide layout team to ensure quality of layout of own design.</li><li>
Drive silicon debugging and design characterisation.</li><li>
Drive lab evaluation in collaboration with Application Engineers for own design.</li><li>
Produce high quality documentation for own IP blocks.</li><li>
Working closely with DFT engineers to ensure that own blocks follow existing strategy and implementation for DFT.</li><li>
Work closely with test and product engineers to support test development and ramp to production.</li><li>
Coach and mentor less experienced team members.</li><li>
Contribute to schematic and layout block level reviews for blocks initially designed by others.</li><li>
Take technical leadership for sub-systems and driving them from specification to production ramp.</li><li>
Interpret requirement specifications to achieve system and design strategy for power management products.</li><li>
Take a proactive approach to driving own development plan, utilising team members and internal development opportunities.</li><li>
Any ad hoc tasks as deemed reasonable by your manager.</li></ul> 

Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Staff Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to support Aerospace &amp; Defense strategic and key accounts in EMEA on RF, High speed converters, MEMS and related topics.
As a Field Applications Engineer, you are the bridge between product development groups and our customers. Your primary goal is winning new business though proactive in-depth design and development support that will solve customer challenges. This requires a profound knowledge of technology and the customer development process. You must be familiar with all the aspects of the product lifecycle, from development to mass production.
In this role you will be responsible for actively driving and managing early engagement, the technology proposal and evaluation stage. You will be the key technical advisor and system advocate working in conjunction with the engineering and account teams for a wide range of power applications. As an FAE you must be able to identify customer platform requirements and work closely with internal Analog Devices Business Units and Systems Engineering. You will take ownership for driving the resolution of all technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process from concept to design-in and mass production. You must be able to build trust and establish and maintain strong relationships with strategic and key customers as well as ADI internal Business Units. The base pay range for this role is between $109,699 and $192,400 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
