Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a 737 Payloads Certification Data &amp; Analytics Specialist with experience and passion surrounding the development of data &amp; analytics platforms, tools, and reporting. The specialist will support 737 Payloads in Renton, WA with an initial focus on Certification.
Position Overview:
In this role, the employee will be responsible for benchmarking current data sources and reporting, understanding what associated backend data exists, how to access and leverage backend data, provide and iterate proposals to utilize available data sources to meet reporting and visibility needs, and ultimately implement data, analytic, and reporting solutions across 737 Payloads. It is important the employee is proactive, curious, self-driven, and hard working. The employee will regularly work with engineering value stream partners and leadership, as well as associated process, tool, and IT team members to find optimum solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders is essential in order to achieve successful outcomes. A successful candidate should have a strong foundation in project management and is expected to perform project management activities to drive project completion and produce project visibility artifacts that will be shared with Program Leadership. They will produce metrics for plans and schedules for moderately complex projects, programs, and change activities across the lifecycle of a program. The ability to perform studies/analysis and planning efforts within and/or across programs/projects is also required. Once data, analytics, and reporting is in place the employee with support execution needs, maintain and uphold the portfolio of established mediums, iterate and implement improvement as needed/requested, and collaborate with leadership/sponsors to maximize benefit.
Primary Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards.
</li><li>Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives.
</li><li>Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project.
</li><li>Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers.
</li><li>Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
</li><li>Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
</li><li>Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.</li></ul>

Business Intelligence Analyst 
Mission:
The Business Intelligence Analyst designs, builds, and maintains high-quality dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making across IDEA&rsquo;s schools and departments. Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, this role executes BI development work within established enterprise standards, leveraging certified semantic definitions and governed datasets to deliver reliable, performant, and user-friendly insights. The analyst partners closely with stakeholders, Analytics Engineering, and domain teams to translate business questions into actionable visualizations that support student outcomes and operational excellence.

This is a full-time position based in Texas, with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or who are willing to relocate.

10-15% travel to IDEA locations, regional offices, and team meetings, especially during critical dashboard launches and training initiatives. 
What You&rsquo;ll Do &ndash; Accountabilities
Essential Duties:<ul><li>
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards in alignment with enterprise BI standards for data modeling, DAX, visualization design, performance optimization, and security.
</li></ul><ul><li>Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify analytical needs, and translate business questions into well-defined dashboard specifications.</li><li>
Execute the full dashboard lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.</li><li>
Conduct rigorous quality assurance, including data validation, performance testing, and user acceptance testing prior to release.</li><li>
Document dashboards with clear metric descriptions, data sources, assumptions, and user guidance to support adoption and appropriate use.</li><li>

Implement certified enterprise metric definitions from the approved semantic layer into Power BI datasets, ensuring consistency across reports and domains.</li></ul>
