 Summary
 
 
 
 Assist Anesthesiologists and CRNA's in maintaining a well equipped, clean and orderly environment in which to administrator clinical anesthesia at Danbury Hospital.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Prepares anesthesia machines and equipment/supplies for procedures &amp; assists with room turnover in an expeditious &amp; efficient manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Cleans, stocks medications and supplies, &amp; maintains anesthesia carts, machines &amp; equipment in all areas of operating rooms/procedural rooms where anesthetics are administered while assuring supply availability for continuity of operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stocks anesthesia workroom and all other designated locations with medications &amp; supplies to maintain availability of anesthesia supplies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborates with anesthesia staff to preparation standard stock forms to ensure constant &amp; efficient restocks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains appropriate logs and records for tracking of medications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responds immediately to any reasonable requests for equipment, supplies or assistance made by anesthesiologist or anesthetist involved in pre-, intra-, or post- operative patient care to assure their satisfaction.
 </li>

 Achieves the organizations established expectations for behavioral standards quality service, cost containment, teamwork &amp; self development.

 Responsible for resolution of first level of trouble shooting for anesthesia gas delivery systems and anesthesia to resolve, refer issue to supervisor &amp; Bio-Medical engineering.

 Job Summary
 
 
 
 The Anesthesia Technician 2 assists Anesthesiologists with procedures before, during, and after anesthesia. Prepares, calibrates, and checks equipment before procedures. Cleans anesthesia equipment and work area. Stocks anesthesia supplies in Operating Rooms and areas like the GI Lab and Radiology.
 
 
 
 Essential Functions Of The Role
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Arranges drugs and sets up the instrument table with supplies for anesthesia procedures in Operating Rooms and satellite areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures anesthesia cart and supply cabinets contain adequate supplies for procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Helps Anesthesiologist with procedure by passing supplies, instruments, and lines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Cleans tables, equipment, and work area in Operating Rooms on completion of each case as assigned.
 </li>
 <li>
