Position Summary
The Assistant Designer &ndash; Denim COE supports the design and development of seasonal denim collections from concept through production for Lucky Brand and Nautica Men&rsquo;s value channels. This role partners closely with Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Technical Design, Production, and Sourcing teams to help create trend-right, customer-focused denim products that meet the unique needs of multiple retail partners and channels.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about denim and emerging fashion trends. Key Responsibilities 
Design Support &amp; Creative Development<ul><li>
Support the design team in the creation and development of seasonal denim collections across assigned categories.</li><li>

Assist in the preparation of inspiration boards, seasonal concepts, trend presentations, and color direction.</li><li>

Product Development &amp; Technical Support<ul><li>
Assist in the creation and maintenance of tech packs, ensuring design details, construction information, trims, and wash instructions are accurately documented.</li><li>
Organize and track sample development throughout the product lifecycle.</li><li>
Support wash development by reviewing strike-offs, wash submissions, and samples with manager for design consistency.</li><li>
Prepare samples, reference materials, and comments for fittings and review meetings.</li><li>
Partner with Technical Design and Product Development teams to communicate updates and maintain accurate records.</li><li>

As a UX Designer focused on mobile apps, you'll spend your days designing native iOS and Android experiences for AWS Events. Your typical activities include:

</li><li>Maintaining and evolving the mobile app Figma component library with platform-appropriate patterns
</li><li>Creating interactive prototypes for mobile usability testing (on-device validation)
</li><li>Partnering closely with mobile engineering on feasibility, platform conventions, and implementation specs
</li><li>Collaborating with Product Managers on feature prioritization, activation metrics, and mobile roadmap

About the team 
The Studio X - UX Team is part of AWS Marketing's Integrated Demand Center, where we drive customer-centered experiences across all digital marketing channels. The UX team spans five capabilities: UX Strategy, UX Research, UX Design, UX Writing, and the Aura Design System. Together, these capabilities help teams understand customer needs, design and validate solutions, and scale consistent experiences across channels.
 
 
The team operates through a distributed leadership model, with designated leads for each scope area spanning channels (website, email, mobile app), practices (research, design systems, writing, accessibility, measurement), and strategic initiatives. The team's talent spans North America from Seattle to New York to Mexico City, and partners closely with global teams.
